Hello again everybody,

I have now got my Transformer power wire, ground wire, fixed voltage power switch wire and power accessory wires installed. Please advise how to install the uncoupler/ unloader tracks as far as wiring is concerned. How many wires will I have to add considering the wires I have already laid which I hope I can tap into.

Thanks for your help, Jerry

Jerry,

No wiring from the transformer is required since both the "0" and "027" uncoupler/unloader tracks draw their power directly from the track.  The "027 is hardwired whereas the "0" section has 4 screw connectors, wired correspondingly to the 4 wires coming out of the controller.   If you wish to power the controller directly from a fixed voltage post on your transformer ( makes the uncoupler/ unloader section operate without powering up the track ) disconnect wire #4 from the track section and run it to the appropriate hot post.

Isn't it the #3 wire for fixed voltage?

Right you are!  Sorry for the confusion.

Bruce

Further study revealed #3 wire for fixed voltage on the "O" track section, whereas it is #4 wire on the "027" section.  Here in lies the source of the confusion.
