Lionel's protestations to the contrary, FastTrack doesn't really take well to repeated assembly and disassembly. So, here's how to freshen it up for optimum performance!
1) Rail Spread
If your track looks like the one on the left, gently squeeze it back into shape with a pair of pliers.
2) Loose Pins
Loose pins mean bad connexions.
Here's how to tighten em up:
a) Clamp the track in place.
b) Wiggle the pins. If they're loose, solder them.
NOTE: When soldering the center pins, always solder the outer edge. Otherwise you run the risk of blocking the inside of the rail with solder.
