I updated the app like a lot of people with some uneasiness. Went to build a lash up with one PS2 and a PS3. Never had a problem before the update. When I go to hit next after naming the lash up and selecting the TIU, nothing happens it will not advance to the next step. Anyone else have trouble?

Yes, same issue here with v3.2.2 Build 12 on iPhone and it does not matter if PS2-PS3, PS3-PS3 or PS2-PS2 multiple units.  I only updated the app on my iPhone, kept my iPad on prior version (3.2.1) and the MU build (Build DCS Lash Up) works just fine with the same TIU and engines tested.

@MTH RD if you are monitoring, I just submitted another DCS App Contact Form for the issue:

After upgrading the app to v3.2.2 Build 12 on iPhone I can no longer create a DCS lash up. The "Next" button does nothing after entering lash up name and selecting the TIU.  The ability to do this function on v3.2.1 on my my iPad works just fine, as designed.

MTH R&D addresses the update in another post: https://ogrforum.com/...6#182466532056411336

Hi all.  We're just now hearing of some issues with the recent (a few days ago) iOS app release and will be checking them out as soon as possible.  Once we validate a bug, we'll squash it promptly and release the update asap.  It took a bit to get things cleaned up and brought up to speed but, we should be able to stay on top of things now.

Another new release of the app will be available when the new WTIU hardware ships.  We are releasing the WTIU design into production within the next few days.  We are cleaning up the design documents and finalizing the files for release.  It will be a bit after release before production hits dealer shelves.  We will certainly expedite things but, it takes a few months at a minimum.  The good news is, the design is informally released and doing so is just digital paperwork.  We are moving into the production stage which is much more predictable.  We will update delivery via our website and the newsletters, etc., once we pin down the date.

I know it's been a long time but, it's finally here and nobody is happier about that than me!!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you all.

Thank you for responding MTH R&D regarding the 3.2.2 issues.  Until a fix is determined and made available to the public, is it possible to take down 3.2.2 version from he APP Store and replace it with 3.2.1?  Is it then possible for us who already (intentionally or unintentionally) updated to 3.2.2 to delete and start over with 3.2.1?   I have many family and guests coming for the holiays and I need the Lash-up feature working!!!  Thank you.

I had it on a iPhone 12, a new iPad and a very old iPad. It just plain caused the old iPad to roll over and die. Not suprising though. The old one tried to auto update and lost the whole app. No big loss there. But still now I am down not being able to run lashups. Though it sounds like MTH is on it. Let’s hope they get it solved soon. At least they know and acknowledged it. You got to start somewhere.

It appears the only path is to rename (version number) the previous version and re-release it as if were new.  The previous version of the app may not pass the Apple review process due to some current requirements.  I'm still looking into it.

In the meantime, A bit of a work-around for your lash-up issue may be to use the "ALL" engine feature.  If you select "ALL" from the top of the engine list screen, you can run the engines together.  It controls all active engines.  You would need to manually configure the horn volume for mid/rear engines, etc., but to the novice, it will look like a lash-up.  Just a thought.

@MTH RD:

I’ve reached out to Rich Foster to offer assistance from Apple a couple of times. Other than offering his intention to pass it along to you, I haven’t heard back if you need help, so my assumption is that you have everything you need, but please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly (contact info in my profile) should you need assistance from the inside, so to speak.

The "ALL ENGINE" feature would be acceptable if this was the only lash-up of engines running on my layout.  I have several lash-ups and several single engine trains running simultaneously.    When using the ALL ENGINES I can't control the lash-ups independently.  After start-up of ALL ENGINES I can individually control or shutown the single engines.  Unfortunately ALL ENGINES are repsonding to the ALL ENGINES commands meant for the Lash-ups and therefore it is NOT a functional workaround.

Well, of course the "ALL" feature is not a replacement for the lash-up feature nor was it intended to be suggested as one.   Given the lash-up feature is broken in the app, someone could indeed run several engines together in a faux lash-up using the all command.  Of course, all means all so, other engines would need to be removed from the track(s).

It was merely a suggestion intended to help.  My apologies.
