Using miniature toggle switches for Block Control

I have a small concept layout that is used with a MTH DCS control system.  Since I operate conventional as well as PS-2/3 engines I sometimes need to remove track power from sidings.  I have a block control panel that uses miniature toggle switches to select a block. Each switch operates a 12 volt relay that conducts power to the track (block). I can also select a block using my TIU/AIU control system in the same way.

Since the toggle switches only conduct about 1/2 amp when operating the relay I can use 22 gauge wiring to the panel.

Using miniature momentary pushbutton switches for Turnout Control

I have 3 ways to control my turnouts:

1. I use my MTH DCS TIU/AIU units to operate separate relays to control individual RealTrax turnouts. I can set up via my handheld any combination of turnout positions.

2. I also use a Turnout Route Control panel that has miniature red and green pushbuttons.

3. I also have another panel that has the RailKing controllers supplied with the turnouts.

I can control my turnouts using any of these three methods.

Note: All the turnout solenoids (actuators) are powered by separate 18v fused AUX circuits.  I do not use track power for turnout control.

See photos attached.
