I recently picked up some trains and there are two items that seem to be fairly rare (I know that word is overused). I want to inventory them in my collection and would like to have a value on them for insurance purposes. I can't find any listing (current or sold) on Ebay. I'm sure they don't have a lot of value but I like my insurance records to be accurate.
The first one is a Senco Sound Tender. Overall it seems to be in excellent condition with good lettering and the internal electronics. I don't have any of the other items that this came with to make it work so for now it is just the tender.
The second item is a Thomas Railroad Flat Car with stakes (number 1006). It is also in excellent condition. It took me a little while to identify it but thanks to the Western Division TCA, they have an excellent history review of Thomas RR items. I originally thought someone had modified a Lionel 3451 Log dump car but found this to be an original Thomas RR flat. Again, nothing is showing up on Ebay in current or past sales.
