This SD60M was built for the BN in March 1991 at GMDD in London, Ontario and given this livery in support of our forces fighting to drive Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait in Operation Desert Storm in 1991:
She remained in this livery, with several respectful retouchings, until May of 2000 when she was refurbished and painted up in BNSF Premium Livery and assigned the roadnumber 9299 which was apparently to be her original designation before the fellas in Ontario were inspired to make her the great tribute to our men and women in uniform she was for over 9 years.
