Vertical Truss Poles? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Anyone know where I can buy something that looks like these vertical truss type poles in the picture of Penn Station below?

I have searched google to no avail.

Chipset,

I have searched for similar box beams (w/ lattice work) myself.

The only options I've come up with are:

Plastruct (be prepared to shell out $$$)
Cannibalize an Atlas O bridge

If you do figure something out, please send me an e-mail: gpandelios@verizon.net.

I'm trying to figure out how to construct a large, unique bridge using these beams (without breaking the bank).

Oof! Tough search, to be sure.

They may be able to help and/or direct.

Some time ago K&S Metals (Special Shapes Div.) made some etched brass beams in a truss pattern, but I don't believe they continue that product line any longer. I just went to their website and the only 'remnants' of truss beam listings are all marked 'disc.'....not a good sign.

I think Plastruct is your best bet. They have truss pieces that you can put together to make the box-beams that are in your picture.
