Hope all you wonderful forum members have a great Christmas. I put this short video of Christmas past together so we all can remember when we were kids. Hope you like it and some old memories come back. Please add your own photos to the thread and tell us a little about the pictures. Merry Christmas everyone. Don

You have the soul and skills of an artist, Don. Thanks for creating and sharing this.

Having this as a featured topic shows the good taste of the powers that be at OGR Magazine. Arnold

Don, thank you so much for that great video.  I sure brought back a lot of memories of when I was little.  I always wanted a Lionel train set for Christmas but my late dad always thought than an HO set would be better as that was what he was getting into.  Thanks so much for taking the time to make that up, I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely watch it more than once I can assure.  Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Merry Christmas to you and also the rest of the forum members.

JIN15, I think this is the one. Film was shot the first Christmas a only a few weeks after WW2 started. Put this together in 2015. Enjoy. Don

Yes Don, that's the one. I like the way people "back in the day" had class. Look at how people dressed for family get togethers back then. Boy, how things have changed. Old jeans,t shirts and ball caps are the new norm. I remember being young in the early 60's and still dressing like that for Christmas and Christmas eve family get togethers. Thanks for the great video...……...I always liked the video you had of the end of the war in Japan and the celebration going on in Hawaii

Thanks Jin15, I did a TV show about this family and the little boy (Mike) was retired and living in Davis, California. He was a wonderful interview. We found the original house the film was shot in. The houses were all white with tile roofs and new then. Many empty lots at the time. I always wondered what was going through the adults minds at the time of the filming. Just after the attack on Hawaii they all had to be worried, but had smiles. Your right, they where a class act. Thank goodness they shot 16mm film of that last Christmas together. By the way Mike still had that American Flyer crossing gate when we interviewed him and had given "teddy" to his grandkids. Glad you liked the film. Don
