Malcolm - another set of beauties. What's great about your work is that you're providing the hobby models of interesting prototypes that otherwise aren't likely to be commercially available. Last week I emailed you regarding a possible Huntingdon & Broad Top Mountain combine project using the locopainter215 address shown in your profile. Did you receive the email?
thanks

Edit!!! Ed, Found it! I am re-entering hospital Wednesday and will look at it during short (hopefully) recovery. I will get back to you then.
Thanks Ed. No, I did not receive it. Please resend. I will check spam in the meantime and see if it ended up there.
Malcolm
Great work as always!!!
Malcolm, Ed is correct of you providing rail cars which are not, or hardly, made by the, so called, Big Boys!
AND, your creation of other rail cars are far better, in all aspects, than those same cars made by the BIG BOYS!.
Ralph
Ooooo those are gonna be nice.
Brother,
That is an early VGN cab dating back into the early 19teens. I have only seen a couple of pictures of them.
Thanks all! Got home from hospital this morning. Turned out to be a minor procedure. Now that it is done, gall bladder surgery coming next. Hopefully no more after that.
GOD BLESS all of you,
Ralph
Malcolm,
As Dionne Warwick sang, "I say a little prayer for you"
Nick
Malcolm,
Get well soonest!
ChipR
I had mine removed. Piece of cake. Best luck to you.
Dick
I remove them routinely. It is a smooth process these days. Hope it goes well! Did all of the Virginian cabs find homes?
Jeff,
How many cabooses for a gall bladder removal?
Seriously, the Vgn cabs have homes but I can build more.
Malcolm
I think we can work out a deal! Would like to see one of the Virginian Cabs finished. Hard to choose between it and the N&W.
WOW.........
What sort of wire do you use for grab irons?
And I guess while I'm at it, I might as well ask what method do you use to secure them to the carbody once inserted into the holes drilled for them.
