There was a guy on the forum who built custom cars on streets car-frames. dont think he is on the forum anymore.
if you have a VW bug shell....

and an EZ streets car

combine the two.
MTH made a number of these that appear on that auction site periodically. Maybe a forum sponsor has some new old stock.
I believe that ETS made them as well and they are still sold by a vendor who primarily sells tools at York in Orange Hall and the Amherst Rail Show in Springfield but I don’t recall the name of the company.

I looked through the MTH site. Guess I’ll join TCA and hit York this year. The vendor I’m thinking of definitely sold tools. Thanks
Of course I encourage you to join TCA and attend York, but I believe that the vendor’s name is B&B Hobby Supplies based on an old map of Orange Hall vendors.
Yes, I recall ETS selling the VW at the Amherst show years ago.
I have an MTH red VW, I believe it’s PRR. I’ll have to dig it out. I’ll sell it to you, I’ll look for it tomorrow
Bought one at the Allentown show at the OGR booth

Thanks - Let me know what you find. Looking forward to it.
Thought I’d never find it. Checked our bedroom closet where I keep some Christmas train stuff, then checked the garage box’s. Had to go back and look at every spot again. Found it in the bottom of a container of empty boxes!
It’s in good shape, I would run it under our Christmas tree, the grand kids like it. I added a rubber band from one of their braces to the drive wheel. It doesn’t seem to have much traction with out. I removed it. I think I’ve had it for close to 8 years. Haven’t ran it much. I may have bought it off the forum or off eBay. shoot me an email and we’ll work something out
