Walthers Cornerstone O Guage Operating Crossing Gate Questions.

Anybody have one of these? How is the movement? Does it catapult up and down like a postwar accessory? If anyone has video it would be great.

At 8 1/2" it seems a bit long. Opinions?

Hi Rick, I have a pair on my layout, but it wouldn’t work automatically. I now have it hooked up to operate manually, with the switches installed just under layout. They work and look fine, and stay down for as long as the little levers are held. A small red LED lights up realistically when down.
