"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

(Posted in the HONG forum because it's an HO layout. But the subject matter is worth at least a chuckle no matter your scale)

Sometimes you just need a little tongue-in-cheek with your trains...

From YouTube comes this miniseries called "Tea and Moonshine". Told in a Thomas-esque style, it tells the story of a Western North Carolina-themed HO club layout and it's mechanical denizens as they cope with a steadily increasing complement of British locomotives and rolling stock that the railroad has inexplicably imported into their midst (hence the title) and for obvious reasons the UK stock themselves figuring out how the make the best of their unexplained arrival on "the other side of the pond". Not to worry though, the US equipment gets up to its own shenanigans too

Each episode concludes with a blooper reel that amply demonstrates the quirks and idiosyncrasies of OO-gauge trains operating on a US HO layout. Yes, the track gauge is the same, but there's just something..."different" about those UK trains. So far there are 12 episodes, each about 10 minutes long, and it appears that more will be in the offing.

First episode is below. Since this is also a self-contained playlist, I linked to that below the video.
