I took many liberties with this one. I could not fit a model of the real URR crane in my space so I came up with one that would fit and was more fun to build. I still have to mount the cab. That is why it is tilting forward.

That looks great Dave! Did you build it yourself??
That is awesome! Is it functional? I would spend more time operating that than I would running the trains.
Outstanding work Dave!
Very nice Dave! What kind of backdrop are you using? is it printed or painted? Looks great!
David,
That is really cool. Nice job. I like the color.

Very nice Dave. Is that going to be water where the crane is or something else?
Great scene. I don't know where you find the time between family, store, music, layout, etc. I remember when I had all that energy too!
Dave...I really like it...great creativity. You have giving me an idea so I hope you don't mind me copying you!!

Very nice job Dave.
A great idea and beautifully executed! Great work Dave!
Brother Mouse, fun time as usual operating on your layout last night. The pictures of the crane really don't do justice of what it looks like seeing it for real. The whole water scene is going to be top notch. You amaze me yet again my good friend.
Dave,
Looks fantastic as usual, going to have to come over in the near future to see it in person!!

Dave....very nice......are you taking orders? Tom

No HEWETT?
The Duquesne Crane is a cool piece of equipment.
I love your crane and think it looks better in that setting than would a prototype-correct model. The real one is massive and obviously quite strong but the lattice boom and all you have looks great! I love cranes and have two Lionel kits that have lattice booms that I intend to use on my layout. You've given me some ideas with the way you made the pedestal mount of it and used the Crow River clamshell bucket.
This crane is bad as h.!Love industrial theme layouts!
I am getting ready to build a Hewlett like in the picture above. I have a Walthers kit a customer sent me that I have to use to create the O-scale model. This one should really take some time to construct.

Dave, love the Crane but sadden you didn't got for Clairton's big red titan crane or the coke dumper on the Mon. Keep up the good work.
