Great link!  I ordered a weather vein also for the top of my barn!

Blows me away what CAN be found hiding its candle under a bushel.  It is the reason

to go to some of these conventions...where I have found secret, mysterious kitbuildiers I never heard of.  Some of this one's HO structure kits would be welcome in O.

Model tech Studios also has a collection of weather vanes and ,I think, birds to sit on the peak of the roof. You may have to dig for the birds.

I received the weather vanes I ordered and while I find the detail very good, they are very delicate and don't try to use super glue with an accelerator as it dissolved the plastic on one when I tried to get the direction vanes to stay in place. I think I will try the brass ones next from the UK.

After posting previously about the problems I had with the weather vanes I bought from VectorCut and accelerators for Super Glue, I received in the mail a new set of weather vanes. That's customer service of an exceptional nature. I chalked it up to my old man eye's and finger's and wouldn't have dreamed of thinking of asking for a replacement, and to receive another set out of the blue was a surprise. They are very nice weather vanes, the detail is exceptional, but they are delicate so ham-handed guys like me be careful, others enjoy a great little product.
