Hi everyone, Does anyone know when Weaver is going to have ALL of their Milwaukee Road boxcars available? I am still waiting for G25008, G25011 and G25012. I tried to email them but I got some pop-up asking if I wanted an app. I have the windows 8 version and I don't know what that entails. A little help from you Forumites please!

I sure thought all those Mil Road "round roof top" boxcars came and went back last year.
Paul: I understand that they're ready for painting and just waiting for a new shipment of trucks. I can check with Weaver when I get back from a trip, Feb 10th for a closer estimate on delivery dates.
Hot Water: The Milwaukee Road cars were not the round roof type. Those were the B&O cars from a couple of years ago. i believe that they still have a few versions of this car left and that they will be decorating some of the others in the next few months. The Milwaukee Road cars' distinctive styling feature was the seven horizontal ribs on the sides. Also the little "lumber door" in the center of one of the ends.
Both of these cars were built in rather large numbers and used in interchange freight service for many years. Therefore either car would be perfectly at home on anyone's model railroad.

Call Weaver and ask for Gary. He will give you the straight answer to your question. Their phone number is: 570 473-9434. They aren't open on weekends.

Thanks, it obviously was the "ribbed side" cars that I purchased last year. I thought all of the different styling schemes had been produce at that time.
Thanks everyone.
Paul, I'll wait until I hear from you on the status of those 3 cars. By the way, my Weaver RS-3 Milw Rd is running well. The only change that I noticed was that I started controlling it with Lionel's new CAB1-L. Whatever the reason, it's nice to have it running right!
