We had a great late lunch, now it is time for a free Frozen Custard.
Had my hand stamped at the train show
All images shot with an iPhone 7 Plus and post production with Adobe Photoshop.

Quick project I did with Lionel. Going into production soon.

a bright full moon out tonight...
My novelty car has a first name, it's ....
No, I didn't buy it. But was tempted.
Johan, very nice weathering effects on display in your photos.
Jackiejr, I believe I spy a tail on that sunbather.
Patrick it appears the the team track is still very busy in lower Patsburg.

These exact type cars were at Camden Park in Huntington WV. As a kid it was my favorite ride. The park is still there some 50+ years later....as are the little train cars.....but now an employee pushes the kid around the track in place of the hand crank......kinda sad....running your own train was the fun!!!! But my grandkids did get to ride the same ride I did.......
A 2018 Christmas Layout memory
Here's a 2 minute video if interested. It's noisy! I apologize for parts of the "night" scenes - I thought I had the camera on fixed focus but apparently not.

We had those at Kennywood park too back in the day but the park said it was too maintenance heavy to keep. Shame cause when I was a kid, and when my kids were still kids, that ride was a favorite of ours too.

That's where I first remember them from. They have them at Hershey Park as well I believe (though it's been a few years since I was there when my daughter was small enough to ride them). Come to think of it, I remember her riding them a few years ago at Strasburg as well.
I swear I have to do a double take on some of the work here. Very realistic guys, well done!

Very nice! BAR GP7 #63
Nice photos everyone. Here's my contribution
Nice Al, always great items from you!
Al, the saw mill is over the top. Great work.
Here's an oldie, but I've always loved this shot. #6606 and 6608 were the first scale-wheeled MTH diesels I bought back in 2009. Bought another 6008 and renumbered it to 6009 two years later.
The sawmill is excellent Al!

I’m working on the long retaining wall between the grade and the industrial area above. As with the small wall I recently posted, the wall and vertical pieces are 1/8” Masonite (hardboard) and the cap is 1/4” MDF. I’ve already glued the cap on, and today I’ll glue the vertical trim pieces in place. Then I’ll break all the edges (lightly sand) to get it ready for primer. The paint will adhere better than if all the edges were sharp. After that, I’ll spray paint it with the textured Desert Bisque I’ve been using and install it. Then I’ll give it a dark wash. It’s all one piece, and measures about 81” in length. The last picture shows where the wall will be installed. After the wall is in, I’ll put some basic ground cover down.
