Activity around the Ice House and Ice Dock
Beautiful night shots, Roger!!
Andre.
One of the two PATH railcars that survived the WTC collapse on 9/11 was donated to the Shore Line Trolley Museum on 8/6/15. Here it is on the flatbed trailer where it sat during the acceptance ceremonies taking place on the other side:
Video I shot of the unloading process afterwards can be seen on this thread.
Above photo was shot with a Samsung Galaxy Note 4. I think it has HDR capability, although I'm not sure if it was engaged on this shot. It's just unusually clear and colorful.

Here's a "grab shot" from my cell phone of the rural hamlet of Longfellow, PA. These Lionel SD-70MAC's from the recently released Hi=Cube set are my son's new favorite. He recently started posting on here, and you may have seen some of his posts.

Finally picked up a N6B Cabin car...
Made a title for my theatre marquee.
I thought this first pic was really cool. It was powered by a small HO locomotive running on HO track that is laid inside the Ferris wheel.

Did you rust it naturally?

Andre,
I'm not sure if you were replying to my scrap load, but I didn't weather the shavings. This is how they came out of the band saw. It's going to be interesting to see if the steel weathers, or if the adhesive seals out any oxidation. Some of the darker material may or may not be rusted pieces, as the material has been in the trough for a very long time.

Seal well after that with a dull cote IMO will work.

So I posted this awhile back. The guys in the club said it needed lights. I guess it is more eye catching now.

It's already sealed as part of the manufacturing process. I really didn't want to weather it, as I see shredded steel being loaded into hoppers that is not rusted.
As to the water and vinegar, I now keep a container on hand, as per your previous suggestion, in the shop for other scrap loads. I added some salt to the mixture as well.

Ray.
Ray,

Yes, Don, when in Rome. Next visit to Maui will definitely be Bikini Blonde Lager Time. After all, what's not to like about either blondes or bekinis? Granted, Miller Time is more of a state of mind than a brand. I can't remember my last Miller anything, but have enjoyed plenty of these...
