Happy Friday!
As promised - here's some shots of the layout I'm working on now.
Yes it's small, but it fits the space perfectly. Kids love it, so that's what matters. Really wanted to get 2 trains on there, but I'm not a fan of overcrowding.
Scott, Great Pictures and thanks for starting off the weekend in such a fun way. I like your mountain, Fantastic trestle and the Hudson, and tin-plate trains to, wow, and SIRT, Great weathering m you have great talent, Mike Mccutcheon, Beautiful Amtrack trains speeding to their destinations....Everyone have a fun weekend..Happy Railroading
Have been enjoying the photos you all are posting each week. Always interesting and inspirational to do more on the home layout.
Here are some photos of my O scale 2 rail trains on the big island Canadian Pacific Selkirk and Empress with Golden Gate passenger cars. On the dual gauge G/O.
And Circus, Great Northern and Thomas and friends on the smaller Garden Railway O Gauge loops. I put in a wiggly line for the Slinky Dog car to wiggle along. LionChief controls are on the fence for the kids to run Thomas and Percy. Slinky Dog, Paw Patrol and Dinosaur cars are popular with the families.

Hi Peter,
After seeing your layouts it reminded me of a conversation I had at York [years ago] in the Lionel Tent with Lenny Dean. We were discussing display layouts and he said: if you want to keep the public's attention, when you build a display layout make sure you include three crossings. They will always wait for the crash.

"Also, I'm proud to announce that I was approached by a publishing company to create a book using some of my photos."
Congratulations Christopher !! can't wait to pick one up !
really like the bridge Larry ! great photos.
Peter was that two different places or just two layouts at the same place. The bare layout looks like a Christmas tree layout.

Joe......we have a few layouts for the modular group....
In the background is part of our 20x42 layout being worked on.
The TimeSaver layout which was featured in a prior issue of OGR is there.
The tinplate layout is our 6x11 potatable layout
Our 12x15 FasTrack modular layout is on the trailer ready for the Chesterfield County Fair in a few weeks....August 23-31.
The bare layout was Gilly@N&Ws living room Christmas tree layout.
Gilly's Halloween layout that was features in OGR a few years ago is also there.

Neal,
As someone who has been in Duncannon countless times over the last 20 or so years, I must say that it captures the flavor of it very well. I'm picturing the train station/cable company off to my right & the park. Nice job
Peter I knew you guys had the big layout and the 12x15, I had no idea you had the others.

Peter,
Thanks for the videos. How many different configurations did you go thru before you got that exactly right?

I was out of town when I posted the photo earlier in this thread of my model of the town of Duncannon. It was an image that I had taken on my cell phone. Now that I'm home, I have access to my computer, and this is a comparison image I created of the model vs. the prototype. I wasn't about to scratch build these structures, but using commercially available structures, I think I came pretty close. The bank is by MTH, and the turreted building is from DPM.

Looks great. I'm amazed at how much detail is in this small area of your layout.

Since there isn’t a 2 rail photo thread I’ll put this here. Overland custom painted rdg c424 basking in the morning sun.
Leapin Larry, Thanks for posting pictures of your layout. I have not visited for some time and it really looks sharp.
