At a recent train show I picked up what was advertised as PS2 electronics gutted from F units. The owner had evidently decided to go with DCC electronics. The price was too good to pass up. The photo shows what was in the package. I've labeled things and tried to give my best guesses as to what I'm looking at.
- 1. Board holders
- 2. Slave board?
- 3. Panel for slave board?
- 4. Harness connectors to boards
- 5. Tach board
- 6. Smoke units (missing one splitter)
- 7. Master PS2 board?
- 8. Controls for master board
- 9. Connectors to tethers
- 10. Tethers (one cut)
- 11. Tach?
Questions: Do I have things labeled correctly? What is missing (not counting screws, etc.) I know the harness is damaged. Can it be made usable, or should I try to get another from MTH? Does any one have a wiring diagram that matches what I have?
BTW, I would like to put this into a set of MTH PS1 F3s.
