One of these:

UNIVERSAL LC/LC + REMOTE CONTROLLER

I concur!  Yikes, think I preordered one months and months ago.

We all did but it was delayed for an "upgrade" for which I am willing to wait.  It is scheduled for release in December so hopefully, we will get it in time.

Been exactly one (1) year, as shown below, for me!

"We have received your online order #174398, placed on 12/03/2015."

So Santa, still have my two front teeth and would really like just one of these!!!

Nothing. I've purchased pretty much everything I could ever need or want (sound familiar?) and have no need for anything else. I rarely run my trains as-is, I don't need another engine to add to the 2 dozen (literally) sitting on shelves in my basement.

Although, admittedly, MTH still has yet to produce #25 after many, many delays.

Thanks for the update, guys. Should be soon.

My grandson is 20 months old.  A bit too young for a regular train so I found an almost new Lionel Happy Huff & Puff set from the 70's.  He can push it on the track or just push it on the floor.  Maybe next year we might try Thomas.  My youngest son has one of the old, Large  Scale Thomas sets, it might work better to begin with.

When ever you decide to purchase Thomas the train items you can search your area Craigslist for deals in the toy category. Craigslist is covered up with Thomas the train sets as well as the train tables for near nothing.
