I am starting to assemble my first plastic AmeriTowne building kit. I wanted to ask advice as to what would be the best type of paints to use that would not cost an arm and a leg.
I use a lot of Krylon plastic compatible spray cans in flat colors. If ‘m decaying, I may use gloss, and then overcoat with Testors Dull Coat or Krylon flat clear. Krylon also has camo colors that are dead flat.
Haawk58, I should have mentioned to wash the plastic pieces in warm water with a mild detergent (Dawn), and a brush to remove any mold release on the plastic. Let them dry a day or so before painting.
