Where can I find the Central Locomotive Works (CLW) O-Scale Alco PA-1 Kit #1 and Kit #2 printed Build Instructions and Parts Lists on the Internet?

I was approached about buying an incomplete and partially built CLW O-Scale Alco PA-1 Kit in my area.  The Seller does not have the OEM CLW instructions.

It seems that any Internet search of Google now limits search results to mostly websites that pay Google advertising revenue.  I do not want to buy the PA-1 and guess which Assemblies are incomplete or have parts missing.

I tried contacting Bill in California who bought out most of the CLW inventory years ago, but he does not have the CLW printed instructions I am trying to find.

In the future, I wonder if there is or needs to be a online database of Brass Locomotives/Rolling Stock build instructions/parts list documentation for vintage or discontinued O-Scale models... 3-Rail Forums and published books seem very organized about Lionel documentation, but 2-Rail Forums are not as well organized.

Hi Karl and thanks for the response,

The URL Link you posted and suggested I contact for the research Desk at the Kalmbach Library leads to the NMRA.org website Login that is apparently managed/updated by Kalmbach Publishing.

The Research Desk you mention is no longer available until sometime in 2018 due to merger delays/resource limitations with the CRSM Library. Here is the Kalmbach website posting about the Research Desk closing due to research materials now held in storage...

Kalmbach Library

NOTE: As announced previously, we plan to merge the NMRA Library with the CSRM Library in Sacramento, CA to create one of the largest railroad specific libraries in the USA. When we sold the Headquarters building, we packed all the reference material in anticipation of the merger. The merger has been delayed by CSRM, but is still moving ahead. We did not make plans to re-create the Library at our new more efficient office location. We can still provide very limited services (copies and scans of some materials), but we will not be able to provide full research capabilities again until we complete the merger (timing estimated to be 2018). We apologize and are working with CSRM for them to absorb our collection as quickly as possible within their resource limitations. We'll do our best to meet your needs, but our reference collection is mostly packed away and we do not have room to unpack it.

NOTE: At the moment, this service is not available. Please review the initial paragraph on the main Library page for the reasons, and projected resumption of services.
