That was the first thing that I though of myself.
The people who don't get it are probably too old, too young or don't watch CSI Big Grin
Hi, I thought that I would share a nice The Who memory. Years ago I was working a spotlight at The Who concert held in the Cow Palace in South San Francisco. The drummer, Keith Moon, wasn’t able to make it to the stage. The other band members pulled a guy out of the audience to drum for them---he did a fine job. Jim

Isn't that the name of the Who's breakout album in the 70's?

Well..... The title song "who are you" and "squeezebox" did get quite a bit of airplay.

A bit of triva: The record company produced a sanitized version of the entire album, the difference being the song "Who Are You" had it's expletives eliminated. A friend from a radio station gave me their copy, because the radio station decided they would only play the unedited version.
Picture disks were also big at that time. I have the picture disk too.

If that's the case, what a sad, sad commentary. One more reason why I seriously doubt there will ever be, say, peace in the Middle East! LOL If we can't engage in friendly banter about toy trains without getting the urge to beat the s**t out of someone, then how in the world are people ever supposed to have rational, peaceful, lasting consensus on matters that are so much more serious, important and hyper-sensitive. Frown

btw, was anyone else as horrified as I was back then when that WHo song was released? I mean, the brilliant group that produced such seminal stuff as I Can See for Miles, and the amazing albums like Tommy, Who's NExt and Quadrophenia, reduced to a song with bird-call like noises (Who- Who...Who Who) as the hook!! Big Grin yeeesh...I do hope I die "before I get old!" Cool

Agreed. I just took a look at the Album's track list. I was mistaken about Squeezebox. That song is from "Who by Numbers". Looking at the track list for these two albums, I can see why I didn't play them much.
IMHO, Quadrophenia was a masterpiece, and their last album worth hearing.

Hope I die before I get old...

Or also appropriate

Do you really think I care
What you read or what you wear?

I want you to join together with the band...
