Well attended show and way too many bargains on way too many tables.

All Nation tables were loaded up with kits for rolling stock, cabooses, trolleys, and updates on the diesel line of products.

All I bought were archbar trucks...and I left stuff on tables that I probably should have bought......but I was there to sell.

See you all in at the August show!

Great show! Sold a couple of things, bought a couple of things. meet a few new folks and maybe making a new friend as well.

I even offered to drive John Sethian's Bentley and burn some rubber and break it in for him.

He said NO WAY!

John if your reading this, I am a retired  professional driver, I would have done a good job on your car.

I also made several low ball offers on some trains. One in particular to Roger Cairns, He said NOOOO!

Maybe next time!

Good to see so many great folks,   Wishing you all The Best of good Health!

Like everyone else I left things on tables I probably should have bought but didn't.  I did however pick up some of my favorite industry cars...2 pulpwood cars from Martin and a 2 Rail converted Lionel White Bros Milk car along with a Southern sign for the train room!

The scratch built converted boxcar from Martin is my favorite!  It is something I have never seen in O scale and he did a fantastic job building it and it came with a removable wood load!

I had a great time. Despite John Dunn insisting I leave my car outside the fire house.  I got several trade offers for it (like three mismatched wheel sets).   But had to turn them all down because I had no way to get home.

The reason it was out there was because I was a seller this time and had to unload my car.

That was a whole new, and another positive perspective on the show for me. I sold just about everything and still met the usual round of friends. Plus I met a few new ones, like Andy and his wife.

Possibly my best sale was to David Vaughn who purchased my TCA standards-Condition 9 Lionel Giraffe car. That I converted to 2 rail. I had fun with it, now its his turn.

Since I made a vow to myself not to buy anything  (I even got Greg Viggiano to buy me a hot dog)  I went home with a wad of cash.  Not to mention better gas mileage.

PS: Franky-ogee, I AM reading this.   It was the "breaking in" part that had me a tad worried.

Another fine Strasburg 2-Rail O Scale Show put on by Rich Yoder. Traffic was steady all day, sold a bunch of stuff off the table. Managed to only purchase a couple of new (to me) items.  Really enjoyed myself at the show. Great catching up with everyone that stopped by and talked. Seamed like that was a lot of what I was doing through out the show.

Here are some images from the show:

The engine room tables as the show was starting to pack up.

A great show all around! Uncharacteristically, I managed to sell about the same as what I bought this time.  Another wonderful feature was seeing my fellow RSME club members as well as other O-Scale friends from long-forgotten shows and operating sessions.  Already looking forward to the next one.

Good to see you Bill and Phyllis;  You guys are missed at the club.

Strasburg  is always a good show! Lots of good buys and deals to be had, and seeing friends is always a pleasure.  I too am looking forward to the next one in August.  Hope to see you all then.
