Last night my samsung tablet would not load a ps2 3 volt engine. My samsung note 5 would load the engine ok. I had all my engines in both devices working ok. My tablet would not find or control this particular engine so I deleted it and went to re add it via the tablet. I used a dedicated programing track to add my engine. It would not add it. I tryed my samsung phone a note 5. First finding the engine and running it. Worked ok engine showed a strong battery. Then I tryed deleting the engine and adding the engine again via this programing track. It worked ok. Even tryed my dcs remote doing the same things. it worked ok. So then I went back to the samsung tablet again it still would not add the engine. My app btw has ben updated to the latest version via the app store on both my phone and tablet. So I deleted the app on my tablet and reinstalled it via the app store. Then tryed to add the engine. This time adding the engine was successful. I lost all my other engines and settings though. I had to re add all my engines to my tablet a real pita, but all were successfully added back to the app on my tablet. I will have to re name all my costom engine sounds for each engine though. That two is a real pita.  So now my two questions

1) why would my tablet not recognize or add this engine, but my phone and remote would?

2) is there a way to save your roster and engine data on the app like you can with the remotes for events like this. so in the future if something happens like this I dont loose all my engine data?

Roger,

There's absolutely no way to ever know. You're tablet's app became corrupted. What you should have done was dismiss the app on the tablet (swipe it away), re-launch it and refresh it. That would most likely have cured the problem without any loss of at a.

Yes, there is. Further, you can still do so. Go to the More... Screen, Advanced Features and export the app contents from your phone. Then, import them into the tablet.
