Have a Williams Hudson, item # 40199 with a bad motor. The motor, drive gear assembly is press fitted together . Need a source for a new drive assembly, not eBay.

Your best bet is pulling the worm and putting it on a new motor. The motors are dirt common, it's just the worm that defines it.
Why not just buy what you need from Bachmann? ……the 40199 Hudson is the smaller O27 engine. It shares the same motor as the Berk, The GS4, The J, and probably more,…..I had no problem adding a couple motor assemblies to the cart, so evidently they’re in stock?…..They did not change anything design wise from the Williams line to the WBB, …..

These are a little under-geared (about 12:1) and other Forum threads suggest that issues with the gear mesh cause the motor to run hot. I know at least one other poster replaced his motor, and the new motor also ran hot and failed.
With RailKing and LionChief Plus alternatives readily available, I would think hard before putting money into any of these Williams O27 steam locos. My $.02.
