Will these buttons work for block power

I'd want 10 amps, 5 for just one. Engine would work.

That's a momentary action pushbutton, so you'd have to hold it down all the time you needed power.

That's correct Kris, I hope we didn't come across as suggesting anyone was stupid.  All of us started at the same place at one point.

Thanks guys.  It is amazing what you can overlook after a few hours of looking at buttons.  I total didn't see that it was momentary in the middle of the night.

I am really just looking for a big lighted button that is very kid friendly so if anyone comes across something like that in around 10amp On/Off style then please let me know.

I'd like to go with straight power through switches, without using relays or anything fancy at first, just so my son really gets the idea of where the power is being routed.  I may just go with more standard switches and then move to lighted buttons and relays at some point.  But I think a lot of 11 yo boys will probably be working these switches so I'm still hoping to find something big and obvious as to when it's on and when it's off.

I've been using these available in the auto department of farm stores, etc.
