As a thank you for all of his help (trust me, he has been more than patient with all of my questions, and there have been MANY questions), I decided to name my most recent build after gunrunner john.

The original kit is from Downtown Deco - the Palace Hotel.  The plaster walls were primed with white spray.  The brick is acrylic.  The mortar is tinted gesso.   The concrete areas,  the 'patches' on the side walls, and the boarded up side windows are done with pan pastels.  The tile area under the awning was also done with pan pastels.

The awning is real fabric.  The shades were made with tracing paper.  Roofing is from Stoney Creek Designs.

The water tower on the roof, and the window AC unit are from River Leaf Models (thank you Andre).  I highly recommend both of these kits, especially the water tower.  I colored both with pan pastels.

The building is lit with LED, a few of the windows have been 'blacked out'

I might add a bit more weathering.

Thanks -
