ok everyone. I have acquired a set of NYC Williams Crown Edition passenger set. The set is nice now that I cleaned it all up but I noticed missing screws that hold the shell on. It drives me crazy when things are taking care of or aren't in their place. Can anyone tell me where to find these screws. They are small black Philip screws?? Thanks for any help!!

Bachmann sells screws on their web-site. Here is the link to the
Bachmann universal parts page that have common screws on it. http://estore.bachmanntrains.c...;sort=20a&page=6
You may have to call them to confirm which screws are correct for your cars.
If you take out the screws that are already in there, and if they are all the same style/size/thread/length, you will know what the screws look like.
If they are all different, then you will know that whoever worked on the cars before you was a ham fisted clod.

Or thrifty, and didn't want to pay 4 or 5 dollars shipping for a few screws.
Take one of the screws to a hardware store or two. See if you can find a match or near-match (color not relevant - can't see them). These are not "special" screws - just a common, appropriate size which the designer chose.
A slotted screw will do just as well.
