It only took me about Twenty years to go from an old curtain to a blind. It isn’t finished yet. I need to top off the trim paint; and I’d like to find a Lionel flat sheet or something to make a valance out of.

obxtrainman, if you don't mind me asking where are you located? We are at the 12.5 MP, part-timers.
Not sure if you will find "Lionel", but there are many variations of train fabric on Amazon that would work to make a valance or side drapes - just search "train fabric" and you'll find many excellent choices.
A local fabric store might also carry some.
I bought some a couple of years ago and my wife made "train" pillows using it.
