I am interested in installing a Lionel OTC device to control the track switches on my layout. The directions from Lionel state that I need to power the OTC using an accessory transformer. I am using a post war ZW. Can't I use one of those four outputs to power the OTC. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I would suggest an ASC, or for wireless an SC2. An OTC is for an operating track (5 rail).
Each ASC will operate (4) switches. The SC-2 (6) switches.
SC2 v.s. ASC comparison.

It was interesting to note that Lionel has added quite a few Mike Regan tutorial videos to the Service section of the site. Thank you, Mike R.
Thank you. I mixed up the units in my previous question, I plan on using both the OTC to operate accessories and the SC-2 (6-14185) to operate switches. what I can't decide is whether or not I can use one of the outputs from my post war ZW to power the OTC, or will I need to get a transformer to use just to power the OTC? Thanks.
The SC-2 can be power (3) different ways. There is a (1.)wall-wart with the SC-2, It can be powered with (2.)Aux Power via the two terminals provided or in Command mode (3.)(fixed track voltage) Track voltage applied to the #1 switch terminal will power this device.
OTC 14 volts fixed AC.
