We have a puzzlement and need some help. We want to have interlocking (right word?) signals between the upper and lower levels. Please take a look at the attached picture.

On the DZ 1050 signal on the lower left corner, the 1008 is wired into a DZ 1000 with the R,G, and Y all going to the AIU. Black and blue wires from 1008 are to power and common. Gray and white ones are wired to the DZ 1050 for NO/NC. The red and black are to power and common on the DZ1050. Based on the picture below, is it possible to wire a second 1050 (located at the white circle) using the same 1008, but reversing the NO/NC?

Or do we need a DP/ST and, if so, how should that be wired so that when the switch is thrown the lights change accordingly?

Thank you. That's pretty much what we've done. I realize, though, that I didn't ask my question correctly. What I want to do is to wire the signals and switch so that if the turnout on the lower level is green, the 1050 on the lower level is also green, but the 1050 on the upper level is red. If the turnout on he lower level is red, so too is the 1050 on the lower level, but the 1050 on the upper level is green. I thought I could daisy chain them together and just reverse the input/output wires, but that doesn't work.

I don't think  that  type of signal is going allow you work the Signal Head  that way.

It's because of the electronics that is  built into the Base of the Signal.

The Signal looks like a Train Z type Signal. Not a very good Picture of  your Signal.

 You'r going to have to use a plan type of Signal, that doesn't have any electronics built in here.

Just a plan Signal head.

Well according to the Z Stuff data sheet on the 1050, if you block the sensor then the signal switches according to grounding (connecting to common) the Yellow (input) wire on it. So I thought if you kept it grounded (using the NC contact of the 1008) when the lower 1050 was green, it (the upper 1050) would stay red. Then when the lower 1050 went red and the 1008 switched ungrounding the upper yellow wire, the upper would go to green. No?

Two headed signal. Hmmm. I hadn't thought about that. A dividing and normal route is what we want to do. I've got a couple dwarf signals that I can temporarily hook up and will try that. It will be a couple of days before I can get back to this project, (gonna ride on the Steam in the Valley) but I'll let you know how it works out.  But thanks again everyone. My apologies if I misunderstood your question/meaning. If by daisy chain you mean connecting the upper level 1050 in series with the lower level 1050 then what you want to do won't work. Both signals should be connected to the 1008 in parallel. With both 1050's connected to the 1008 activating the relay will control both signals. If I am correct connecting the upper signal opposite the lower signal with respect to NO/NC will allow one light to go green while the other goes red.
