I have both of Barry's books and am starting to lay tracks on my new layout. It will be all DCS. I have a Z-4000 Transformer and a Z-750 Transformer, TIU, WIU, and ready to purchase 1 or 2 AIU's. Using Barry's book I'm looking at Geographic Assignment of TIU Channels on page 32. I've attached a PDF of the track plan with labels identifying the power drops for the main lines, placement of insulators, and power drops to the sidings. I will also want to wire all of this through a control panel for toggle switch control. All the Ross turnouts (27 so far) have DZ-1001 switch machines and I plan on powering them through the AIU's. My big question is do I have enough transformer power based on this configuration? How would I best utilize them to power the track via the single TIU?
