Having trouble wiring Lionel Semaphore using insulated fastrack with fix voltage. Any help or suggestions wou be appreciate. However, I did get my postwar flasher & gate to work on another section of track but struggling with the Semaphore.

So it just has two terminals for wires? Connecting the one terminal to the A transformer post and the other terminal to the insulated outside rail. Then you have to connect the U terminal of the transformer to the outside rail of the track.
Doesn't it have 3 terminals?
> one for the coil that activates the arm
> one for continuous lamp operation
> center one to both
Oh yes, forgot about an illuminated lamp. I had a Lionel plastic one that the lamp melted the lenses and the solenoid buzzed incessantly. I ran it on about 12 vac. So how you power it is going to depend on which semaphore I think.
I assumed that the insulated track was going to be the outside rail that connected the common to the solenoid (coil). So we need to see if the A powers the coil and the bulb and the second terminal applies common to the coil, and the third terminal applies common to the bulb constantly. That would work, but which semaphore it so we can see how it's wired?
