For Sully's Tavern - the interior LED lights bleed thru the plastic brick walls bad - looks like a glow and makes the otherwise nice structure look like cheap plastic. I only powered with 11-12 volts, too. Will painting the inside flat black cure this or is there an easier and less-time consuming way to deal with this?

I used the rheostat and turned the light down

Try black card stock (heavyweight paper). You can either glue or tape to the walls.

Dear Sir,
You can take masking tape, tape off the windows from the inside and then paint the interior black.. I had the same issue and this works well. Take a piece of tape, cover the whole window and then cut around the window leaving the tape over the window. this way the styrene up to the window is also painted and the tape just covers the window... Keeps the "pumpkin effect" down.. as info, the Walmart US$1.00 spray can brand is pretty good and dries fast.. Dan
Thanks for the suggestions. I will try turning the dimmers down, and proceed to next steps if necessary.
Have you contacted Woodland Scenics? It sounds to me like they have a manufacturing problem. I have been looking at that building but I'm not sure about it if the quality is not up to par.

The best thing is to use walthers goo and aluminum foil. The foil will reflect the light around the structure while at the same time making the walls opaque.
Painting it black should fix it as well.
I read somewhere that aluminum paint was most effective
What PRRHC said. Guranteed to work. I have found paint can still bleed, does not fill gaps, and is not totally opaque.
Interestingly, Woodland Scenics also sells the solution to this problem.

Jim
