OK folks, I have used the woodland scenics products for years including the realistic water. Early last winter, I poured a small pond. After about a week, I placed three painted swans on the water. It's on an upper deck and so I don't often look right at it, but I noticed last week that the swans sunk into the water and a white haze formed. This sinking must have occurred over several months. I was able to removed the swans without damage other then the sink holes and haze. I re-poured product to fill the sink holes. It did level out but the white haze has remained. Did I just need to wait longer than a week to place the swans on or does the product never really dry and will always do this?
If so, would applying a layer of clear on top, letting that dry and then placing the swans help to "support" them?
