"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

One of my recent sources of inspiration has been the work of this true gentleman and real life railroad engineer.  We have been chatting for years about his modeling and I asked him if I could post his images here.  In O circles, he's in the very young age group (as is well under 50)

What impresses me most is how real this looks and it is all N scale.  Certainly something to aspire too even with my tired 50 year old eyes.

Enjoy the photos.  Clem will no doubt appreciate the views.  Maybe we can even get him to join this forum?  Hint..hint...

Jonathan, thank you for the kind words. I’ve simply tried to duplicate what I see in the world around me.

Here’s another oddball locomotive that I’ve done paint work on...

Clem - that's what I really enjoy about your models.  I wouldn't have believed that this patch paint scheme even existed if one of the major manufacturers released it.

Would I be correct in assuming that the center section is primer paint with a stencil logo to cover over a GE BBQ until it can properly shopped and repainted?
