This weekend marks the York Winter Equinox, that time of year when the sun sits directly over the Orange Hall, the midway point between the Fall and Spring York Meets. Won't be long now!

No it won't! As a matter of fact, I put in my time off request at work on Friday for both the April and October meets!

I can't wait, but I've gotta wait and therefore I will wait. But I know we'll be kept up to date.

You will have to join the retirement club. Then you can go to York for the whole week.
That's me, I am there all week.

at 40°N, pretty sure the sun is never sits directly over anything in York, PA.
Gerry,
I copied and pasted Greg Houser's remarks! The only request for time off for me.... cutting the lawn, taking out the garbage, cooking dinner, walking the dog.... Lol! York is 3 months away!

Mark,
First timer at YORK? You are in for a great time. Wear comfortable walking shoes, have a lot of cash and/or credit cards with low balances on them! Make your hotel reservations in advance even though rooms are available up until the day of the show. Many new places have been built in the area in the past 5 or so years.

First round at the Forum dinner Thursday night is on you...it's a tradition which you don't want to break!

Ted,
I already have hotel reservation, money set back, new shoes coming and most of all blessing from the wife. Just registered for York tonight on Eastern Division website so I should be good to go. Thanks for advise.
Mark,
Good! You did your pre-York assignment!LOL! By 2pm on Thursday, your head will be spinning like a top from all the tables and halls to visit. One big train Party! Advice from many, bring a pen and paper to write down something you saw if you want to wait and buy later. But, most will say to buy it when you see it if you really want it as it may not be there later and/or you can't remember where you saw it.
Ted
When will the meet notices be snail-mailed?

Often, as in the Red Hall, the table numbers are on the big chart, but on the actual table, the number will most likely be hidden under the table cover. You know it was in row G, but the rows are long.

Really good advice. If you REALLY want it, buy it. If you think you want it, write it down, look around, but make sure you can get back to it.

If the train is well priced, it won't be there when you go back.
Buy it when you see it if you want it.
