Z4000 Transformer problem

I have 3 of these that each run 2 tracks a piece. Today when I turned the throttle up on 1 of them both handles only went up to 17 volts & no amps showing. All 3 of these have worked fine for years. All 3 are on the same ac power source. All 3 are connected with a ground wire.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
