Are the U terminals on a ZW "common" to each other, such that I can consider them a common "neutral", and the run only a hot leg to each of my blocks? I other words, do I have to break both the center rail and the outside rails in a block, or can I just break the center "hot" leg. I have mostly new MTH and Lionel locos. Nothing older than 2010-ish. I do have sensite circuit breakers on each hot leg to the TUI and do not rely on the ZW breakers. They work pretty well on the hot side of things. Was just concerned about back-feed or whatever....

Yes all the U terminals are joined. To be certain you could check with a VOM.

I think you already figured it out, but you only need to break the center rail for each block.
