Introducing our newest O gauge building! Stop by and load up your pickup truck at the Chippewa Valley Farm Supply! And, make sure to check out the rotating fan!

This prelit and prebuilt O gauge building rests atop a spacious yet sturdy platform that is concealed in a bed of grass-like texture. With the inclusion of a grain elevator, four detailed figurines and Jack the German Shepherd, this model effortlessly captures the charm and spirit of American farmlands. And, to add even more realism to your train display, this building also features an exhaust fan that rotates when plugged in! The figurines and signage are brought to life with beautiful illumination from multiple brightly glowing LED lights. A strip of LED lights can be found under the eaves on the front side and additional LED yard lights supply light to the three remaining sides. SKU# 279-3389

At $69.95 it looks like it will end up on a lot of layouts.  I was wondering how difficult it would be to

convert the lighting to an LED that would run off a transformer (18V.)?

Grampstrains,

There are other threads on the forum about converting to transformer power. However, that is over my head and I won't pretend to understand it.

And the building footprint itself would be....?

I've got every building Menards has offered to date (and multiples of some), and I'm sure this will be no exception.

Great Addition Menards!

mustang,

Thank you for your support!

The footprint on this is 9" wide by 12-3/4" long. The building is also 6-1/2" tall.

Mark, nearly made it out, and they brought me back again.

Just how can I explain this to the CFO?

Thinking outside the box, do you have a special deal where you can include a box of assorted Godiva chocolates at a reasonable cost to attach to each building for an early Valentines Day special?

Sometimes you gotta show the board of directors and stockholders that that there are anticipated dividends to each physical plant improvement.

Just saying.
