Can anyone who bought one of these take a look at the lightbar on the roof?

Does it look big enough to fit a Evans Designs LED in it? I would kitbash this into an MP van and maybe mount it on a E-Z Streets unit.  I hope Mark and the Menards Boys make a military flatcar (or??)  that has a track power pickup like the Chicago ambulance one.

Just ordered my Good Year box cars (one in each color) and some more Kubota flats.

I hope you offer this bus in some other paint job than army.

I would love to have it in Greyhound and Trailways but I understand that might be a licencing problem.

Just a generic charter bus paint job would be great.

Thanks again for being the best value in model railroading!

PCRR/Dave,

This particular flatcar has plastic trucks. We are confident with the improvements that have been made and we will stand behind them. If any issues should arise, we will promptly find a solution.

Mark,  is there any chance someday that Menards would separately offer to sell just the Premium Sprung Die Cast trucks with Roller Bearings featured on the 14 3/4" Flatcars with wooden deck ?

TShearer,

If there is a market for them, we would seriously consider it!

Mark,

Send me the Die Cast good trucks with my order, and keep the plastic junk!  I did not realize this military fat car came with plastic trucks, I do not run them on my FasTrack layout.  If I have to pay extra for the good Die Cast Trucks let me know.  I am a Welding Engineer, I deal in metals not plastic.  This is the exact reason most of my layout is Tin Plate, keep the plastic.  The flat car in your advertisement picture looks to have full metal trucks.  I missed the little description noting the plastic trucks with metal wheels below the picture.

Cabinet Bob,

How is your new Military Flat Car running on your layout, is it operating correctly and can you pull numerous cars behind it, or does it de-rail because the car is to light.

Garfield,

Can you show me where to order the nice wood bed military flat Car, with the US Army Bus mounted on it?

I can not seem to find it in the on line Menard's inventory!  I used the Menard's on line store finder and they can not find it any place.  I would really like to purchase one for my Military Train, seriously cool Military Flat Car no doubt about it.

These are all very , nice, however, I am really hoping they bring back the American Power and Light Building. By the time I found out these were available, they were all sold out.

Mark

I received  8 additional (different types)  military flat bed cars today that I ordered and was impressed with the improvements on a few models that had plastic trucks.

Someone has been listening to my previous issues (not complaints) with  my communications with you.

Thanks

Larry

PS Now tell them to go back to using the brown board looking decks on the military flatbeds.
