I recently acquired the 1978 service station special Minneapolis in St. Louis powered and dummy Geeps. I was surprised to learn the headlights in both of them are mounted like the MPC U-Boats and GP 20’s

what is this calming during 1978 to 1983? Please forgive my lack of knowledge. These are the newest engines from the 70s. We now have

there are no rear headlights
