I'm installing a coil upgrade kit on a old Wabash steamer 4-6-4 1995 vintage RS2. There is a unused lead from the engine going into the tender. I assume this is the coil coupler lead. Does the triac on the LRCU sync the current or source it. Should one wire from the track hot be connected to the coil coupler and the other to ground/frame. Or the spare wire (Tender) to one side of the couple and the other to ground/frame?
