Saw Erik's review with the 3-rail units smoking, but instructions with 2-rail units say nothing about turning smoke on or adding smoke fluid... Except an insert in the box lists additional/updated functions, and F14 is supposed to be for "smoke unit".

So, do I drop some fluid in and let it rip?

I’m waiting on my B&O F3 from Caboose Stop Hobbies so I won’t know if it has a smoke unit until I get it this week. I would check the owners manual first before pouring smoke fluid down the stack.

My Trainman CSX Dash 8-40CW’s have smoke units so I would think the Master locomotives would too. It doesn’t matter to me since I never operate my smoke generators.
