Cab #102. The box states ps2. Yet I cannot find it on the MTH

Product locator

I did find the exact set with correct car numbers

But it says it is ps3 yet in the description it says its a ps2

"...Fortunately, your O gauge railroad can recreate the sights and sounds of this legendary train. The Hiawatha Hudson features die-cast locomotive and tender construction and the latest M.T.H. features, including synchronized puffing Proto-Smoke and the incredible sounds and performance of Proto-Soundr 2.0...."

So what did I get for $950.

It was new in the box that it was shipped in, sealed until I cut it open

Now I have to relocate tracks away from walls for clearance and remove 31 r for 42 r and 72r

But it sounds great and runs even better

A clue to its designation ...it has dcs/dcc. Smoke and volue under hatches on the top of the tender

With cordless drawbar

So what do I really have?

If it has DCC then it's PS-3.

The premiere mth box and the brown cardboard mth shipping box that the engine and the 4 car passenger set came in  both are labled ps2.

So is there no truth in advertising?

Yet the engine does have dcs/dcc switch on the top of the tender.

And the link you sent is the very link , and the only link and product I could locate

So I guess I am very happy that I bought a ps2 thats actually a Ps3
