Hi guys,
I ordered a Fall Brook Coal Co. 4-6-0 Ten Wheeler over the weekend and received it in the mail today. However, the red plastic insert that is the 'fire' in the firebox has already fallen out. I don't know how it dropped out, as I haven't taken it apart. So, is there an LHS that can repair this in NC, even if I ordered it from another dealer?

Hey Alex,
I am sorry about the firebox glow issue. Most are glued in and that glue just wasn't set correctly at the factory. If you don't feel like taking it apart and fixing it (easy fix in my opinion), then I am sure someone will reply to you that might be close by. The real reason I replied is that I was wondering if you can post some pictures of the engine and tender? I was interested in this engine, but have not seen it in person. You can also just send me pictures, as my e-mail is in my profile.

Alex, where are you at in N.C.? ....I’m in eastern N.C. not too far from Chesapeake Va.....I can certainly help you fix that easily if you are close enough for a drive.......that repair won’t even take long enough to finish a cup of coffee.....Pat

I am in Winston-Salem, NC, but that may be a little too far to travel at the moment. My father has late-stage ALS and we can't really travel. Sorry about that, but thank you so much for the offer Pat.
