I am having a issue with the 313 bascule won’t go up but will go down im thinking that the relay bad help please?

Which edition of the 313? Prewar (gear driven), postwar (Spring driven), or one of the modern re-issues? I'm not aware any of them use distinct relays (however, the modern 6-12948 and 6-22972 do have PCB's with have components that look like relays).

I am not super familiar with the modern editions, but I can recommend general troubleshooting steps.

Chances are the relay itself is not at fault but the control signal to the relay could definitely be suspect and probably linked to a micro switch. It can't hurt to test the micro switch for continuity and spray it down with a contact cleaner such as CRC 2-26.

I'm sure others more knowledgeable than I about this particular product will chime in as well. If able a picture video is worth many many words so don't hesitate to post one to generate interest and better insight from members.

Thank you everyone the problem was a missing switch that was not included with the bridge
