So I finished my layout today that I have in my garage. I built the table and have rollers on the legs so I can wheel it around in the garage. All the power on a bust and powered by a 35watt trans. All the working acc. have push buttons to make work next to the 80 watt trans. I run mostly LC+ but I keep the trans so I could run my conventional engines. I have lights every where on it and look really cute with the door down or at night. Dougie

That's really nice. I like the shelf for the transformers & remotes. You even added a spot for storing an engine.
Dougie, this is great. I love it. I love the rocks as ground cover. I need to get off my butt and do this now!
that is really nice.
do you have a track plan?

Beautiful job, well done. Easiy rxpandable too.
l I bet somewhere you put a trailer hitch on it so the pickup can tow it around to events. Nice of you to leave room for your parents car/ truck.🤗

Is that a B27 target hanging in the garage? Great layout by the way.
that is a great start. can we get the number of curves and straights.
the reason I am asking is I give away a train set two times a year at our train all day meet and people are always asking how to build a 4 X 8 layout.
this is perfect.

I can get you more detailed pictures if you'd like. The inside is O31 and 4 on each side with the switches being O36. The outside is track is 4 O36 curves with a 5" and a 2" in the middle.

Impressive work. You did a great job packing a lot of interesting things into that space with a nice looking track plan. There is a ton of fun stuff to grab the viewers’ attention.
great job!
Terrific layout, nice detailing and a great track plan for a 4X8 table. Shows a lot of forethought went into it. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to seeing the track plan.
Worthy of a place in Lionel's list of best display layouts! WOW! Very well done, and quite inspiring.
