Looking for some help - I have a NYC Legacy Alco S2 switcher that is not responding to sound commands - it runs, has the Diesel engine sounds, but I can't control the volume, activate the bell/horn or tower/crew talk from my Cab-2. Tried to do a reset, and it won't accept the reset - no horn sound when I hit the set button on the Cab-2. Is this possibly a Railsounds board failure?

Do the sounds come on when applying power to the track or after you address it? If the former it may just be a loose connection.

Sounds come on full-blast as soon as power is applied to the track. Happens whether I address it or not. Once I address it the locomotive moves without issue, just can't control the sounds - only way I was able to control the volume is by the volume control in the cab. I'm going to attempt to open it up later today and see if the board or connection is loose.
